Sedge Warbler
Swallow
Swallow
Comma - Duncombe Park - Monday
What a dreary day yesterday was, had a late run down to North Gare when the drizzle stopped but there was not much about. Found the fox hunting Seaton Common and one Grey Partridge was skulking about in the meadow. There were plenty of Sedge Warbler along the Zinc Works Road and finally managed to see a Lesser Whitethroat which had been eluding us. A Grasshopper Warbler was reeling but we could not see it. The swallows were obliging sitting along the fence but unfortunately the light was not too good. Going looking for Duke of Burgandy butterflies today as we have good weather at last.
