What a day.

Duke of Burgundy

Common Blue - Dormans Pool

Small Copper - Dormans Pool

Silver Y
Young Meadow Pipit - NY Moors

Small Heath

Lizard - NY Moors
The weather was brilliant, the sightings were excellent but the sunburn is hurting!! Won't sleep a wink tonight. Managed to see what we went out to see and that was Duke of Burgundy Butterflies. We also managed to see in the same location a Green Hairstreak, a Silver Y, a Brimstone, several Small Heath and Dingy Skipper. We also had excellent views of a Cuckoo, a young Meadow Pipit and two lizard. Later in the evening we had a run down to Dormans Pool where we saw lots of Common Blue Butterflies and a single Small Copper. All in all an excellent day.
