Buntings and Grebes
Corn Bunting
Black Necked Grebe
Had a trip to Nosterfield today to see the two Black Necked Grebes which are present there and giving good views. Stopped off at Thirsk on the way to see the very obliging Corn Buntings.
There was a Crane at Nosterfield on Lingham Lake at around 1610-1620 this afternoon and it flew over around 1115 this morning too.
ReplyDeleteNot heard of any Corn Buntings around Thirsk. Romanby seems to be the nearest I am aware of. Any chance you could give me any details?
Cracking shots there Mick.
