The Two Gares

Paddy's Hole
Greenfinch

Stonechat
Black-necked Grebe

Med Gull - Newburn

Snow Bunting

Woodchat Shrike

Had an early start as Sylvia had no horse riding today, and went over to South Gare to see what was about. It was a lovely morning but there was not that much about. A large flock of Greenfinch were feeding in the bushes on our arrival but there was no sign of the Red Backed Shrike. The Reed/Marsh Warbler was still in the Gully and a pair of stonechat sat in the sun near the fishermens huts with Wheatear and a Whinchat on Cabin Rocks. Over at North Gare on the afternoon the Woodchat Shrike was showing well along with a Snowbunting.
