Common Sandpiper

Just a few sightings from the past couple of days. Noticed today how the flowers are going to seed and it makes you realise that although there are plenty of some species of butterflies still around their days will be numbered - where does the Summer go! Will just have to look forward to the returning Autumn and Winter and the return of some of the wintering birds.
