Black-throated Diver
Black Redstart
Another trip over to Hartlepool today in search of whatever turns up ......with David in charge of the camera (gulp!). After meeting up with the 'Monday club' lads at Greetham, we headed over to Newburn bridge. Here we scanned the sea looking for the elusive Bonaparte Gull amongst the thousands of gulls on the beach..............blank...............but a Slavonian Grebe in the distance was a good consolation prize
Word came that a Black-throated Diver had been seen at the marina. A quick drive over and the Diver was located fairly quickly, it was in the company of the Great Northern Diver............brilliant to see them together as a comparison.

Then on the trail of the Black Redstart, which again was fairly easily located..............click click and job done ...........off to home for a cuppa.
