Couldn't stay in the house and do jobs tonight - it was too sunny so went out looking for insects in the evening sun, it was beautiful. Just went to Coatham Stobb for a stroll and managed to see some dragonflies and a rather unusual looking fly. Could imagine it being enormous yet it was so small. Also sigtings of at least 4 Meadow Brown butterflies, our first for this summer.
