26th September Red Kite

Located at least 7 Red Kite gathered together impressive site and, in a location out of Nethy Bridge, we had not seen them before - noticed that one adult bird was equipped with a transmitter.

Had a drive around Carrbridge and visited our Cresties again.

24th September Grantown-on-Spey

The river Spey held Goosander, Canada Geese, Heron and Dipper. On our not-too-distant Crested Tit site the birds responded to the food we had laid the previous day and performed well as they cashed the food for the winter.

23rd September - Bruar

On our way up to the highlands called into House of Bruar for a quick breakfast and a walk up the falls, a Red Squirrel was gathering nuts for the winter and the fungi was fascinating.
